Create and edit an object using a DXF file

Hello everyone,
I wanted to create a part using a DXF file, center it in an object, and then remove it. Now it always displays an error and only the part that has not been centered can be removed. What am I doing wrong and are there any better solutions?

Take a look at this sample and let me know if it's what you're looking for. If yes then I'll go through and explanation of how I got there.

Thank you very much for your efforts.
Unfortunately, I cannot open the document.
From what I can see in the photo, it should be exactly as I imagined it.

Thank you very much.
Looks like I took too many steps and ended up messing everything up.
Thanks again for your support. I would probably have spent many more hours getting annoyed and making everything even worse.
