Lofting & Defining Sketches

I have had some success with lofting, but although I have spent a lot of time with the videos and Forum comments I continue to struggle.
I think my lofting problems may be related to the sketches not being "fully defined" When this comes up I struggle to find out the problem and then to correct .
The loft between the sketch SkRt 0 ans Sketch 308 is a typical example
Thanks in advance for any comments

You're issue's are not likely from fully defined, although that could contribute to an issue depending on how severe and and how far up the chain of features it is when something related to it moves. You don't say what your specifically having problems with but I suspect in that specific example you don't yet understand what is causing some thing be twisted from your intended shape. Spend some time learning about connections in the loft tool and how they affect/create different shapes. Spend more time with videos that can show you what each of the options in the loft tool can do.
Thanks for your helpful comment. I think I am making some progress but have some way to go !
You are correct in your twist comment.
One aspect that puzzles me is why do you get a different result when lofting between 2 sections depending upon which one you select first ?
That is a great question and I've wondered the same thing. Maybe has to do with the normal direction of planes that the sketch is on or the order in which you have sketched your entities. no clue really though.
Interesting. I got the same error during loft and when I tried to make connections because the sketch lines over lapped (which is normally OK) there was no vertex to select at the intersection I tried. I went to sketch 0 and trimmed lines to get a specific vertex. Once that was done selecting areas for the loft now worked just fine without connections.
