New login fields with password managers require double login

Hi,
I don't like the new login flow where the password field shows up separately. FOr password managers this means you have to confirm the login twice which seems silly. I would request that you consider reverting this change. Thanks,

Hi Andy,
The change was necessitated by an increasingly larger number of users having a "regular" Onshape account and the same account being part of one or more Enterprise companies (with the same email address). This causes confusion during login where the user is not aware if they're signing into cad.onshape.com or one of their Enterprise accounts and are unable to find their expected documents, or worse — end up creating documents in the wrong "place" — giving access to unintended recipients.
Below is an example of the additional screen that is shown to such users during the login. We have tried to minimize the disruption to users who are not in this category, but the catch-22 here is that we need to know who a user is before showing the right options, hence the two steps.
This is common practice for enterprise software that allows the same email to be used for multiple accounts, as Onshape does.
Thank you for the feedback - we'll continue to look for ways to streamline this.

@Vajrang_Parvate are you telling me I don't need to make new company email aliases for all of my team members going forward on our Pro accounts? The document control reasons you listed are why I've got that _BD at the end of my name and why my team is running on alias emails generated specifically for Onshape. Or do you only get these other login options under an enterprise account?

I'm sure you can think of a way to implement this without doubling the number of operations needed for everybody else. The first one that comes to mind is to simply display this confirmation only for those whose emails have multiple accounts after the standard email+password login. If the password used matches the one they select, proceed, otherwise ask for the password again as you do here. If there aren't multiple accounts for the email, just log them in as usual. That would have solved this issue without even being noticeable to the rest of us.
An extra click or keystroke for everybody may not seem like much, but it's lots of little decisions like this that end up driving people away in the end, so hopefully you'll smooth this over soon. Onshape development has typically been very good about that sort of thing.
I think the actual problem is not this change, which indeed mimics the path most choose to tackle this particular problem, but the way it exacerbates the long running issue of session persistence. Up until now I pretty much had to login in again any time I close a tab or walk away for 5 minutes, which was a slight nuisance with a password manager. Now it's getting pretty tedious. I would propose adapting industry standard ways of persisting sessions, e.g. issuing refresh tokens and keeping them for a couple of days, give or take.
I strongly dislike the added clicks for logging in.
I'm not seeing the big deal. I have 3 accounts: my free hobby account, professional account at one company, and an enterprise account at another company. All 3 use different emails, IDK if that matters.
Its literally one extra mouse click than it was before.
My password manager is still working at all 3. I myself have inadvertently logged into the wrong place before, so I can understand why the change was made.
@nick_papageorge_dayjob zero extra clicks if you update your shortcuts (assuming you use one) to go to the second page. following a link would require an extra click though.
I feel that this change appreciably increases suffering for all non-enterprise users, especially given how often Onshape requires login.
Please revert this change or at least make the session much more persistent.
There is for sure an alternative solution for those with many accounts under one email address, without the need to worsen the experience for all others.
