CAM Textures - wood effects in particular.

Where would I look for a software or the the ability to add a wood texture onto a part that is the mould for a wood plank - approx 300mm x 1200. Is this possible in the CAM module .
- Are there artificial wood cutting paths to get that effect?
- The texture could be a jpg image that is converted using contrasting heights and then exported as a surface
- Or do I scan a plank with a hand held scanner and import that into a partstudio as a surface
Open to suggestions on route to investigate

There is a "wood grain" custom feature that might be able to help?
It just produces surface splits but you should be able to use it as a base to add some cut features to your faces.

Hey @jonathan_stedman I assume your referring to the Texture feature. It already has wood grain example built into it, however you can also make your own texture templates with any pattern you like and use those. I'll DM you for any custom work if you need more than what the feature can already provide.
