Can containing folder names be used in Export naming rules?

MDesignMDesign Member Posts: 1,265 PRO

The export rules make suggestions based on what you type but when you don't know if something exists, its not much help if your first few characters typed don't land on a useable property. Is there a listing of all possible export naming properties that can be used somewhere? Specifically I was wanting to use the containing folder name in the export name. Is this possible?

@MDesign "Specifically I was wanting to use the containing folder name in the export name."

That is a very good question. I'm not aware of such an option. Would be good to keep exports referenced to E.G. projects or clients.

@rich_north ty. that is exactly what I was looking for.

@martin_kopplow Exactly. I'd like to attach a client container folder/tag to the file names. but alas it doesn't look like anything above the document level is available. Unfortunate.
