Job Opportunity: Advanced Parametric Modeler for 3D printed titanium bike

Hi Onshape Community,

I am the founder of a french Titanium bicycle brand. We are launching a new project involving a fully 3D-printed (SLM) monocoque titanium road frame.

I am looking for a freelance Onshape expert to build the parametric master model for this project.

The Challenge: We are working with a professional bike fitting company. Our goal is to generate a unique frame geometry for each rider based on their specific biometric data (Stack, Reach, Seat angle, Power output, Weight).

We need a robust Onshape model that can ingest this data (via CSV/Configuration Table) and automatically update the frame's geometry while maintaining perfect surface continuity and aesthetic integrity.

Scope of Work:

  1. Parametric Surfacing: Translate our design roughs into a clean, organic 3D model. The frame is aero in style, not just round tubes. G2/G3 continuity is required.
  2. Data Integration: Set up the logic to drive the model dimensions from an imported dataset (CSV).
  3. Robustness: The model must handle size variations (from XS to XL) without breaking the feature tree or surface connections.
  4. DfAM (Optional but preferred): Basic setup for SLM printing (shelling, powder evacuation holes) based on the rider's weight/power metrics.

What I am looking for:

  • You are not just a drafter; you understand design intent and top-down design.
  • You have deep experience with Onshape Configuration Tables.
  • FeatureScript knowledge is a huge plus (especially if needed to automate complex geometry updates or custom features).
  • Experience with bike geometry or complex organic surfacing is highly valued.

Deliverable:A fully parametric Onshape document where I can input a row of data (Fit coordinates) and export a manufacturing-ready STEP/STL file.

Interested? Please DM me with:

  1. A link to your portfolio or public Onshape documents showing complex parametric surfacing.
  2. A brief sentence on how you would approach the "Skeleton/Wireframe" for a bike frame that changes size automatically.

Thank you.
