Managing linked documents

Hi all, I have an assembly, lets call it SA2 that used to sit in a full assembly FA1. FA1 was getting too big and slow and so I moved SA1 to its own document. Now when I update FA1 I am getting a message in SA2 saying that FA1 was updated and I need to update linked dicuments however, I cant see which feature or in what way these two are linked. Is there a reference mananger orsome way to see what features have an external reference??
Thanks,
Paddy

I should have said that the external link is on a part studio as shown in the image below.
The transform is an internal reference to the assembly within the SA2 document as I created the Part studios in context in the assembly.
Even if I could break the link that would be fine for me.
Perhaps the reference is to something within the SA2 document, but if the reference was made within the context of the FA1, then that'll be the cause.
What happens if you open that context?
