Shell doesnt work

I have two rounded rectangles of different shapes and sizes and lofted one into another.successfully. But I need to Shell this part with 1.7 mm wall thickness. Shell gives me error.
These are the dimensions:
- Profile A: rounded rectangle 40.7 × 33.9 mm
- Profile B: rounded rectangle 37.7 × 30.3 mm
- Target wall thickness: 1.7 mm
PLEASE HELP
