How do I constrain only 1 degree of freedom?

I'm new to Onshore (coming from Inventor and Solidworks, and I generally like the mate connectors for constraining things together just cause you can lock all 3 degrees of freedoms with a single constraint.
However, I'm trying to layout furniture in a room and it would be nice if I could do an Autodesk Inventory style mate where I mate the plane of the floor with the plane of the furniture feet and then still drag them around in the X and Y direction. Is there an easy way to do this in Onshape?
Thanks,

It's called planar mate
Fun fact: once you've defined a mate with two mate connectors, you can change the mate type at any time.
