Fusion To Onshape: Share Geometry Across Documents in the Assembly

I am bringing some projects to Onshape and I am doing some design intent planning. I don't know how to get this hole geometry parametrically linked to another document. See screenshot, video demo and project link.

I think you're looking for In-Context editing.

Not sure if it is really in context editing you're looking for. It might look like it and it might even work, but there's more.
I've only spent a short period of time in cabinet making or rather trade show furniture system design, to be more precise. What I picked up during that time is that all this is pretty much based on patterns, min/max distances, standards, not so much on individual placement.
So, covering design intent here may possibly be achieved using a combination of clever configurations and intelligent patterning, while also speeding up the overall process. Ideally, you would not have to put the parts side by side in order to 'mark' the position of a hole on one over from another part, because you could rather drive all parts needed to assemble the cabinet by just entering a few variable numbers in their part studios.
There are a few FS out there that may help, E.G. creating a row of pilot holes with the appropriate number and placement on the sidewall, or determining the required number of fasteners and putting their pockets in the right places. Try searching the FS libraries for anything related to patterning and configuring. Maybe those who are actively using such can chime in here, because I am currently not a regular user of this type.
