Why did the constraints display change?

When I click 'Show Constraints' all I get is a short stub but no constraint symbols. Now I have to click on the 'show sketch diagnostic tools' and 'constraint manager' which is a genuine pain to navigate. Don't get me wrong, it works, nit now when I get an accidental snap to horizontal, it's a lot more work to get back to work. Why the change?

Apparently this is a bug in Firefox on LMDE.
Sorry, I'll just switch back to Chromium where everything is fine.
