I need to scale a sketch in one axis only

I have a sketch on the x-y plane, and I need to scale it in the y axis only. I know that the transform tool can be used to scale sketch elements, but I don't know how to scale them in one axis only. It scales in x and y simultaneously, which I don't want. What am I missing?

You can’t with the sketch transform tool. You can do single axes scaling with the transform feature. I can’t remember if you need to convert it to geometry (solid, surface, curves) first.
