My turn to necro post this thread. I've currently got an opening on my team for a drafter with Onshape experience. Most of the details are in the listing but for those of you reading in the distant future after this link goes dead (or those of you who would rather not click through) here's some basic details about the company and role.
I work for a company called Boss Display that designs, engineers, manufactures, and installs interactive exhibits at children's museums, science centers, and amusement parks all around the world. We're not a household name, but odds are pretty good that we've installed some work closer to you than you might think.
Here's a project I designed for Legoland Denmark.
The role we're hiring for is a junior level drafting engineer role reporting to a lead exhibit engineer. The responsibilities include generating parts, assemblies, and drawings in Onshape per the project's scope and direction of the lead exhibit engineer, and organization of purchased part orders and production files for downstream departments and outside vendors. If you're in my zip code and looking to get experience with an extremely diverse set of manufacturing processes all at once, we're looking for you.
Location: Columbus, OH
Remote: No, too much of what we do requires an on-site presence
Pay: Hourly with potential for overtime as projects require, specifics in the link above
Contact: Email dvanallen@bossdisplay.com with a resume / portfolio
This is a full time role we're looking to fill within the next month
Derek Van Allen | Engineering Consultant | Meddler@Derek_Van_Allen_BD you have the best job!
Why you gotta live so far away? That job post looks like an amazing opportunity. I wish I was younger, and more mobile. haha.
Guys it's not that far away, it's like 10 minutes from my house.
