Yes! this looks like a great implementation - pulling in properties / specs is a nice touch.
This is stellar already, one possible improvement would be to import all of configurations of a particular product at once into the same document and create a document tab that switches between the import target studios with a single derive feature to create swappable configurations of things like fastener length or pipe size in an assembly like the standard library content has. @MichaelPascoe and I worked on a method for doing so manually from my company's catalog of scraped McMaster stuff from Solidworks.
