Problem with the extrusion command

Hello everyone, I'm newbie of Onshepe, that I found amazing.
Today I want modelling a bicycle pedal, but I have a problem with one extrusion.
can anyone explain why I am getting this error?
I created the pedal and then a slot where you see it, needing to extrude it by two millimetres (this would be the reflector that is often mounted on pedals).
Why won't it let me extrude it?
When I try to make it I riceive this message: "Estrusione 6 [Extrude] did not regenerate properly: Boolean operation failed to returna valid part"

Please share the document link and we can help you better. This error usually means something on the reflector you are trying to extrude 2mm is overlapping a tiny edge on the main pedal.
Most likely it's not liking something in this very thin section :
Also, you could try switching from 'Add' in your extrude to 'New' - might work then.
