how to fix issue when drafting with extrude remove

i'm trying to remove solid extrude my initials from a part, with it drafted inward, but it won't work, despite it working with the exact same setup, but different parts, on 5 previous documents. my initials were the exact same height on all 6 documents, and they all have plenty of extra room to extrude, yet it keeps giving me the drafting error.

I found that choosing too large a draft angle caused this to fail. In my case reducing from 10⁰ to 5⁰ or smaller fixed it.
Don't know if maybe this is dependent on the chosen font ?
Can fail for many reasons usually stemming from the geometry collapsing and intersecting. Try making the depth very shallow. If that regenerates, then it is either the depth, draft angle, size of text or any combination.
If that's not it, some of the text that's generated have anomalies. Bug?
This is what's created between the A and F using default font.
Which results in this, and doesn't like draft.
