DXF export to Retina Engrave

Hello all, I have searched and found a couple of posts but no real answer to my issue.
Problem: When I run my laser cutter the lines are not connected and the laser cuts lines individually jumping around rather than cutting them as if they are joined.
What I've tried: I have tried exporting by right clicking the sketch on the left and exporting DXF in ALL OF the different release versions and with and without "export splines as polylines selected". I've also tried many methods of rejoining the lines in Retina Engrave with no luck.
Couple of other things: All of my lines that I would like joint do have a coincident constraint. I do also have an inquiry with Retina Engrave to see if the issue can be resolved there.

Sounds like an engraver logic or rather lack of logic issue. Nothing in the DXF file is going to control which lines get cut in what order.
What brand/model laser and laser control software are you using? I've cut many parts from Onshape DXF exports on a Thunderlaser Nova 25 CO2 laser with Lighburn control software and never had the problems you describe
