When confirming a sketch, you have to click with the mouse instead of pressing Enter.

Am I the only one who can't confirm it by pressing Enter?
Or is it just not possible by design?

It does feel a bit limiting, but the issue I see is that you often will use "enter" to set a dimension or something while working in a sketch so you might end up closing a sketch when you don't mean to if enter just closed the dialogue.
It's not consistent features but I also don't like how pressing enter will sometimes open a dropdown or accept the feature depending on the active dialogue area so it's a more "general" UI problem…
One thing you might not be aware off is that depending on what you do next, you don't necessarily need to "close" the sketch. For example if you are going to extrude your sketch you can just click the extrude button with the sketch dialogue open, which can help…0 -

You're not alone. Same for me on both a chromebook and windows laptop, using chrome browser. It's working for features but not for sketches for some reason. Quickest way (least mouse travel) right now seems to be 'right click' then 'confirm sketch'.

Did it ever work this way with sketches? There seems to be multiple sources online which claim that it did once work.

Maybe I just couldn't find it, but I looked and couldn't find any accurate information.
Even after asking Gemini and GPT several times, they kept citing this page—“https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/Home/keyboard_shortcuts_and_hotkeys.htm?Highlight=SHORT%20CUT”—and insisting that while it’s technically possible, either something else must be selected or there’s a temporary error, so I decided to post this question.
