Cam track motion in an assembly

Todd_JostTodd_Jost Member Posts: 4
I am trying to build an assembly with a "pin and slot" type motion that goes around a corner.  I actually need it to move along a straight slot, through a curve and then along another slot that is about 45 degrees from the first slot.

Is this sort of motion possible to model in an Onshape assembly?

Currently no.  Pin-slot only works for linear slots right now.

Is there any other way to generate that type of motion in an assembly?

Any update?  I really need this functionality to build a moonroof-like mechanism. - Jason

Alternatively, can anyone imagine a way to get a mate to follow a motion path that isn't a straight line?  Any hacks are welcome :).
