When going to copy sketches, I have begun to get the error:  "library version mismatch" .  Untill yesterday I never had this problem....

This is due to the recent release.  We are in the process of upgrading documents to the latest version, at which point this shouldn't happen.

I'm guessing this will be why derived sketches aren't working for me either. Do you know when the documents will be upgraded?

Documents should have been upgraded by now. If you're still experiencing issues, please report the issue via the Feedback form.

Same problem for me today, have feedback just now. Interesting that this is still recurring.

So it seems that branching has something to do with this.

Indeed, when  branch is created from an old version it is not in an upgraded state. We'll have that fixed, but for now
please file an issue with support -

It sounds like one of the documents is not upgraded to the current version.  Can you either post the URL of both docs here (if they are public) or put in a support request to look at this for you?

This is happening to me.  I made a copy of a public document and copied a tab from it into one of my own recently created documents.  I wanted to copy a sketch from copied tab to a sketch in a Part Studio tab in my new document and I keep getting the Library Version Mismatch error.

    Here is a link:

Trying to copy from the tab Keystone to Part Studio 1.

Hello. I am trying to paste a sketch from a shared design (a colleague shared a design file with me directly via Onshape) into one of my personal designs, but each time I try to do so, I see a "library version mismatch" error appear. Is there another way I can try to copy/paste a sketch from "Document A" into "Document B"?

Normally, older documents get updated to the latest library behind the scenes over time. When a new version comes out every ~3 weeks, there can be a lag and issues like this can come up. It sounds like one of the documents hasn't been updated. You can manually trigger an update to the document which is older.

How does one manually trigger the update?
