Hi, I'd like to have a little help if possible. How can I compress a valve spring in a animation.

  @ Werner you can't animate a spring you need but you can edit to get compressed and uncompressed position using height and turn option in helix as below,

  Actually, you can get a "quick and dirty" animation just by clicking the [final] button in the dialog box like this:

  Just add the spring as the last feature in your model, and constrain it's height to a datum plane. Like this:

  Wow @fastwayjim  very elegant! Over this summer I created a live spring that could be animated in an assembly tab but the hit to performance with such complex mate relations is not worth it in production environments. Take a look at the video here:
