How to adjust zebra stripes / curvature visualization?

Hi
I'm looking for an easy way to show topo curves of a surface. I tried by using zebra stripes, but it didn't give me what I wanted. I cannot figure out how to turn OFF zebra stripes now they're turned on. Any suggestions?
Also, any suggestions for the fastest way to make topo curves? (curves of a surface intersecting a plane, with the plane being a pattern of an increment).

Think of everything in blue is a view "Mode"
You will have to click another mode to exit curvature visualization (Default is Shaded)
As for your other question, I'm not sure any better way sorry0

You can create the intersection curves, by creating planes at different offsets , creating a sketch per plane and using the intersection tool to intersect the surface and the sketch plane. Here is an example : https://cad.onshape.com/documents/43dc016f63a8e50a98a119d2/w/90af706321fd8775c0a073c4/e/2dc15350ee98dd1fe40ec0b5
Here is the link to the intersect tool : https://cad.onshape.com/help/index.htm#cshid=sketch_tools_intersection.0 -
Thank you John!
Paul, that approach for creation of those curves sounds good, though a bit tedious..I will give it a try.0
