I set out to post a reply to a message this afternoon. It was intended to contain some quoting, something I have done many times before, but somehow arrived at the mess in the screenshot. I would like to erase this and start again but for the moment I can't. I'm sure the solution is blindingly obvious but for now...

It will show you the HTML tags so you can highlight and delete.
1) CTRL + C and CTRL + V in Notepad
or 2) Post the comment and then edit... so we all can see ;-)
