find volume of an STL in Onshape?

When I import my optimized part from Generate (the file is STL) how do I find the volume of it in Onshape?

- Select the parts in the bottom left area
- Click in the bottom rigth button to see the mass properties

When you import STL, it does not import as a solid.
You can use features like konstantin_shiriazdanov has made to convert it to a solid. e.g. Polyhedron FS.0 -

If the STL creates a fully enclosed volume, then volume works fine. Click the mesh in the Parts list and if the scales icon appears in the bottom right corner then it is a fully enclosed mesh.Senior Director, Technical Services, EMEA1
