What are System Automatic Updates on Parts?

I have noticed on several occasions when opening an assembly that a linked part or 2 needs updated. I open the linked part and check the history, and it indicates a "Automatic Update" modified by System. Any explanation for this?

This is a bit of an "under the hood" thing: when we deploy a major update, it comes with a new version of the FeatureScript standard library (which is where the code of our features, such as extrude, fillet, etc. lives). After the deployment, we automatically go through everybody's part studios and update them to reference the latest library, while simultaneously validating that they continue to regenerate correctly (setting versioning flags to ensure it, if necessary). That update is the history entry you see. When you branch off an old version, we also offer you the option of updating to reference the latest standard library -- you may have seen that -- that is the same type of update.
