Working with an Imported DWG file

I have imported a DWG file which shows up as a fairly complex 2D spline. I would like to "trace" the splines into an Onshape sketch. Any ideas as to how to go about this would be appreciated.

Insert it into a sketch with Insert DXF/DWG
https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/insertdwgordxf.htm
From there, you can make a second sketch and trace over it if you aren't satisfied with how the spline came in.
