Can anyone give some advice please. I have modelled a ball bearing in part studio and the mated it together as a sub assembly.Every thing works fine, when outer ring is fixed, inner ring, balls & cage revolve fine. When moved about the screen all parts remain together when outer ring is unfixed
However after inserting into the main assembly, when trying to mate to the main assembly the outer ring explodes from the balls, cage & inner ring. Depending on which mate I try to use in some cases the whole bearing explodes. Obviously I am going wrong some where, It will be very much appreciated if anyone can help so that I can move on.

First you will want to re-do your bearing assembly. You have a lot of unused group mates and each rivet mated separately.
Instead use the existing circle pattern that you used for your balls
That and you should use a fastened mate to connect your ball and cage.
It's that and the cage isn't fully mated.
The easy thing is to just start over your assembly like this:

Now you should delete all mates connected to the bearings, then unfix them.
Fix the main - unmoving body of your assemblies. I assume that is the ID Body part you have.
Now fasten the "Outer Races" of the bearings to the Bearing spacer, and the extension tube.
I then used a slider mate to attach the inner races to the moving shaft. This will lock their rotation with the shaft, while still letting them be positioned by the spacer (If you want to change the spacing, update the length of your spacer) this way you won't have to edit a mate offset later.

do you have a link to your document?
Remember, Fixed only works in the assembly it is fixed in.
If you were to bring in a hand full of parts, set them all to fixed. Then insert that sub assembly into another assembly. All the parts would be floating.
So make sure you only have (1) fixed part in your bearing assembly.

John, I have managed to position two bearings on the same shaft. The first one is fine I secured to the shaft with a fastened mate, And it works fine but when I try to secure the second bearing the same way the previous mates show red and over constrained and will not work. Also If I new how to provide a link I would willingly do so.

@brian_pinder662 Exploding of parts may be a bug. I see the main assembly is currently fine. Can you point me to a version which has parts in wrong position (exploded) so I can advice what might be going on there or report the bug on our side? If you remember where it happened you can go in history and see the issue and create a version. If you moved on then please report if it happens again.
