GWS50GWS50 Member Posts: 366 PRO
Is it possible to change the way the date is formatted on a drawing. At the moment I have 2019-06-11 and being English!....I'd like to be able to display it as 11-06-2019.
Many thanks

You should try living in the US as a Brit. Writing cheques is usually where my confusion still surfaces. I know there are options in the note settings to change this format. Maybe that will help for now. Let me see if I can get you a more useful answer for how to change this in general.

@GWS50 Paul showed you the way to change the date format to what you prefer.  If you want to see this format for the date on every drawing you create, you can export your drawing as a template and use that from now on for your drawings.  To export a template, right click on the drawing tab, choose dwt as the file type, and download and/or store that template in a document tab.

To update an existing template with that freshly exported one, right click on your existing template tab and choose "Update...".  Now pick your new downloaded template to update it with.
