Projecting a Parametric Curve Onto a Sketch

thomas_howellthomas_howell Member Posts: 2
I defined a curve using the Parametric Curve tool and I need to project it onto a sketch in order to work with it. Nothing seems to be working... any ideas? Thanks.

The Use sketch command should work for you. There are probably some exceptions though. Case in point, the projection of the curve you're converting shouldn't overlap itself, i.e. the projection is a 1-to-1 mapping. Below is an example of a 3D curve successfully converted into a 2D sketch. A 2D curve should convert just as easily as long as it doesn't self-intersect.
