Change Standard Content from One Standard to Another

S_RegulaS_Regula Member Posts: 88 PRO
Is there a way to change a standard content instance (or multiple instances) from one standard to another, ie from ANSI to ISO? I have an assembly with 50+ countersunk screws that need to be changed from ANSI #6-32 to ISO M3. When I right click on a single instance or select all instances with the same configuration, the only changes available are the Size, Head Type, Length, and Thread Length. It does not allow me to change the Standard, Category, Class, or Component (these are greyed out, see pic). If I use the "Replace Part" feature, the mates blow up. Seems like there should be a quick way of changing to avoid having to resolve all 50+ mates??

@S_Regula Right click on the parts and choose "Replace parts..."

@PeteYodis When I do that, all 50+ mates blow up. I am trying to replace them without having to go through and resolve all of the broken mates.

The interchange between standards and even some of the component types would be very helpful. You can do a small change to length but I regularly want to change standard or part type like hex bolt to cap screw and find it frustrating to have to reinsert everything again.
