When I attempt to hide mate connectors, they remain visible.  Is this to be expected?

Is there a transform involved? If so hide that feature in the feature tree as well.

Also - if the Mate Connectors are associated with a Derived part - you need to hide the Derive feature in the Feature List to hide the associated Mate Connectors or Planes (or sketches) that were imported with the Derive feature.

There's an IR somewhere about more granular visibility control for reference geometry imported with the Derive feature...but I think it was about Planes or Sketches, not MCs.
