any way to create an object shaped like this with surfaces in onshape?

trying to figure out how to create a shape like this in onshape.
just the basic shape, not all the twig detals.
was trying to wrap a helix around a sphere, but that doesn't work.
any advise would be greatly appreciated.

You can also do it without featurescript, but it would require splitting a helical swept ribbon surface with a spherical surface.
