    best to share a public document; see instructions here

    In meantime some generic ideas: good chance you can use direct editing tools or a standard tool like extrude or revolve with add selected.

    Any feedback on this topic? I assumed the text were lines...but it seems as though I you can only trim the entire letter and not just a piece of it...

    It's not quite clear what you're trying to do, but you might try this: create one sketch with your text, then create a second sketch and pick just the lines you want to use with the "use" tool so that you can do what you want with the lines.

      I can't trim the parts of the B that overlap into the circles. I'm trying to make a quick keychain to 3D print as an example for my class.

    While you can't trim the text in the same sketch, you can choose the regions to extrude easily.


    You can also make a second sketch, and use the sketch with the text as references to make whatever geometric modifications you want - I added the rectangle at the top and used the trim command to make that shape:
