Creating a 3D path to sweep with a circle to create a tubular steel handle

I can't quite figure how to draw paths in three dimensions with bend radii so that I can sweep it with a circle to create a bent tube. Can anyone help? Thanks.

The 3D Fit Spline seemed to work quite well once I created a composite spline from the different line segments. Thanks for the help!
