Multiple copies of an identical part in a drawing?

Hi! I am trying to laser cut hundreds of copies of a wheel that we need for a school project. I would like to make the drawing have as many identical copies of the wheel as it can fit on our template, without having to hand position all of them. What is the most efficient way to do this? Thanks!

I'm not sure if this will work for your situation or not. You can try the custom feature Auto Layout by @marena_richardson. It takes your part and automatically lays it out onto a sheet for machining.

Is this for a 3D print, laser cutting, or something else?  Many slicers and at least some laser software (Lightburn for example) have built-in features that let you create a well-spaced array of parts for printing or cutting.

It is for laser cutting. I will check on the software we use--that might be the way to go. Thank you!
