Taking a Removed Swept Volume, Turning into NEW solid part?

I have this part that I've created. It's a 1 to 2x adapter/reducer fitting I'd like to cast in Aluminum. I'd like to take the negative volume Y inside of it, and make a new part from it (casting purposes). It would be to make a "core" for the casting. Is that possible?

If you're pretty far along, as I assume you are, then consider using the Offset Surface tool set to 0mm to copy the inner faces, then use Fill Surface to cap it off and make it solid.
