DXF contains sheet metal Bend Notes

andrew_banhamandrew_banham Member Posts: 14 EDU
Hiya
I'm having some trouble with a sheet metal file that I plan to Plasma Cut.

Whilst I have produced a drawing that will be exported as a DXF the bend notes and lines continue to appear.
I have R-clicked each part and selected "Hide Bend Notes" + Hide Bend Lines"
They do not appear in the drawing.... but re-appear when a PDF is exported.

Any hints?

I would export the dxf from the flat pattern in the model. I have had similar experience exporting from the drawing.

    Hi Bryan

Thanks for your suggestion and screenshots.
This would be a very possible solution for a single piece part.

The project I'm working on has 6 panels/parts.
These need to be nested very accurately to fit across a standard-sized sheet of metal.

I'll keep trying the different export version options.

    Thanks for your suggestion

10 parts all nested on a page (sized to represent sheet metal sizes)
The bend info is hidden,..... It looks great...... but then the exported dxf puts the bend notes back in.
