Pros & cons of displaying the update-available icon (blue dot) on FS tabs

When a feature/reference update is available in a Part Studio, a blue dot icon is displayed on the studio tab, as well as directly in the feature list. This makes it easy to see, at a glance, which tabs in a document might require updates.

In Feature Studios, the dot is displayed next to "import" statements, but not on the studio tab. This perhaps makes the interface cleaner (not all imports can/should be continuously updated), but it also makes it trickier to track down out-of-date references.

What do y'all think about adding the blue dot to FS tabs? Useful? Or unnecessary clutter?

Or maybe a document-wide update dialog, with options to filter different tab types, would be a better option? I could imagine this being integrated into the far-left toolbar.

Document-wide "references" display is absolutely necessary. Not only for managing external references versions but also to be able to see cross-references between internal elements - which part studios have derived features, imports, custom features. This kind of reference manager would be very handy if you going to move some of the tabs to a separate document, currently its not an easy job to find all the internal usages of the tab and switch them to version.

Speaking of managing references, I would love a "where used" for FeatureStudios. I have several function libraries and a 70+ custom feature suite. Knowing how they connect would make architecture updates much easier (switching from legacy to named attributes was quite the undertaking).
