Is there a way to compare sheet metal flat patterns?

Using the compare tool, I noticed it lists changes to a sketch that's on the flat pattern so I can't see it on screen because I'm looking at the formed part...
I can't see a way to switch to the flattened view from the compare tool but maybe I'm missing something?

I guess it would be great if it could also compare the content of the side panels (custom tables, variables, configurations, etc)!
