Tangent Mate Overdefines the Assembly

Hi, I am fairly new to Onshape. For my school project, we were supposed to make a bird, like this. So, I had made my own version of the bird here. In the first one, the assembly works flawlessly, without any errors with the tangent in revolute mate. But, with my design, the tangent mate refuses to work with the revolute mate and says that the made "Overdefines" the assembly. As far as i searched on google, I found this to be a problem with the revolute mate, but it is working for the original bird design. Why isn't it working with my design? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    I think your problem is coming from these two faces not being parallel:


    I tried doing the tangent mates between the wing face and one edge of the base, instead of face to face. It works, but there's clearly some interference going on. If you go back into that sketch, and make the two driving lines parallel to each other, you can use the faces for the tangent mate.

    The combination of the slider mate and revolute mates already defines the angle of those wings. So when you try to put a face to face tangent mate, it can't tell which you want it to be, 0.204 degs off from parallel, or parellel.

    Thanks a lot for your comment! You figured out exactly what was wrong with my design. I Made the sides parallel, and now the tangent mate works perfectly. Thank you for taking time out to help me with this, I greatly appreciate your help.
