How can I trace an irregular shape like a gasket and then perfectly match that profile?

I am sketching on top of a picture I took of a gasket line but I am having trouble creating its profile without sketching the inner diameter. I had to use the spline tool to follow the profile.

    Hi @matt_anderson178 you can´t reference a sketch on a picture. I would try to take a photo perfectly from the top, create a spline on the inner contur of the profile and then make an offset with the diameter of the profile.
