select a line under a line

How can I select a line which is hidden under an other line?

    Pressing "~" to cycle through the select other is the best way I know.

    Every once and a while I have to select both lines, with an inclusive box selection, then deselect the one on top. This can be useful for drawing studios sometimes too. Or you can exclusive box selection around the smaller line if that is the one you are after.

    right-click and choose, "select other".

    I know this but, it wont show the right line. It only shows me the edge of the part.
