Teacher Comments to Students

Greetings All!
I've looked in several places and can't seem to find the answer.
I'm using the "Class" feature in Onshape with my HS CAD class.
I've been leaving comments on their assignments. The students are getting the email notification that I left a comment, but the comment isn't showing up in their assignment.
Am I doing something wrong? Is this not a feature?
Please help.
Thanks, Jen

Hi Jen. Sorry for the delayed reply.

When a student submits a document, a version is automatically created. When you click on their document from the submission list, you are taken right into that submission version. Comments on versions are tied to those versions, so when a student goes back into the main workspace of their document, they will not see the version comments. We're aware of this issue and have made a minor change so when you open the student document, you should now see "return to main" hyperlink at the top of the document. If you leave the comment in the main workspace, they will see it by default, or they can go back to their submission version from the version and history graph to see the comment you left. We are continuing to explore better ways of making comments more visible across versions and the main workspace.

Hope that helps - please let us know if you have any other questions or feedback!

    Matt
