Offset surface to a sketch to create a new surface - Custom Feature

Hello,
My custom feature generates a sketch. I'd like to add the function of offsetting that sketch so a new surface is created. Similar to what I would manually do with the Offset surface native tool.
opOffsetFace doesn't seem to work, and offsetSurface commend seems to not exist anymore?..
What would you recommend?
