Why is my extrude failing?

Hi,
I am trying to make an extrusion (removal) but I can't figure out how come it's failing. I made sure the sketch plane is the face I need to extrude and redid the sketch 5 times but it just won't work. The last action, Extrude 4, is the one that fails.

Not shure about the root cause, but it is not the sketch, it has something to do with the boolean feature 'Combine back'.
When you move the 2 boolean features down in the feature tree below 'Extrude 4' and adjust the 'Merge scope' in the extrude features, the model works fine:
