Where is my imported model
When I first tried importing a step model, it shows properly with 2 tabs created: 1 as a list and 1 is the model tab. But somehow now after I import a model I only see the tab that lists the model file but the tab for real model is not shown, even though the translation went through okay, why?

I'm wondering what types of files can be imported into onshape for editing? I would love to be able to take something from a place like thingaverse and edit it here to 3D print. Thanks!

Hi! I try to put my solidworks files on onshape, but I have the error "translation failed" With solidworks (2013 and 2015) I created the zip files with the function pack and go. I follow this video but it does work with me. Do you have some solution? Best,

Opening Inventor Part Files
I am having trouble viewing *.ipt files. According to the help information, Inventor files should be supported. When I open the file however, I see the normal CAD window but without anything in it (i.e. just the origin marker is present). Is there something I need to do in order to view these files?
