I am looking for a solution to paste-copied parts into the place in the same assembly, attached or mated to another point in the assembly. The problem is that it is positioned visually to the near position but aligned with the plane parallel to the screen aligned to orign point Look at the attached video to see what I mean.

I'm learning CAD and am currently working my way through the "Introduction to Part Studios" module in Onshape's "Learning Pathways." My goal is to really learn CAD, not just understand the instructions. In the exercise for Basic Features where you extrude a control arm sketch you create, I'm getting close to the surface…

Hi all, I have created a simple frame and then built parts on top of it (all in the same Part Studio). The main frame in red has been created using a rectangle in a sketch then the Frame feature with ISO rectangular tube. The tube 1 in green has been created from another sketch using a single line. I have used variables to…

I'm trying to use the loft feature to create a winglet by connecting 2 different aerofoil sketches (1 bigger than the other), any ideas why it isn't working?

I am trying to replicate a feature from this YouTube video at the 55:07 timestamp- The problem I encountered is that the creator is using PTC Creo and using the Face Blend feature. I was unable to match a same feature on onshape so I used the loft feature and created splines as guide curves in order to create the feature.…

I am a brand new user of Onshape but a long term SolidWorks user. Throughout the quick start tutorial it was showing multiple parts within a part studio. I'm sure its something simple but I can't figure out how to start a new part within a part studio. Do I just start drawing another body? That seems weird because then the…

Here's the document link. The part I'm working on is in the "Outtake Parts" part studio. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/21d74e98fc4375dac84f2c2a/w/7413bb431169d2d1fdd89053/e/e0a4721fdad310f95b111da9

While I appreciate my incredibly-high-feature-count studio in https://cad.onshape.com/documents/f7f17755bfe8a5b34f695cab/w/6e98b93b38e725802b27a1a8/e/9c8d8e72ffc02948f8ce2e70 "Printed parts" is far from an ideal usage scenario (scope creep…), I've not had this issue in a long time. Geometry not only doesn't render but is…

I am designing a mouse and Onshape and I'm trying to get the side profile correct using surfaces. What is the best way to get this surface? I'm struggling to get it correct and would like any guidance I can get. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/08780f20313f5f9c233056d3/w/62de257a58a36c7e09f190ed/e/3ecf4ff8693cdfc08fcecb8b
