@peter_paton - you can create a sketch in your part (would have to add hatching manually in the sketch) then in the drawing, you can right-click the view and show sketch. (View Post)1 -

@tony_abedini parts and sketches should not move around on screen, they should be fixed to something relevant, like the origin. Use assemblies to position parts relative to each other. (View Post)1
