Merge is located under the gear menu of a version/workspace that isn't part of the same tree. We will update the documentation around this. (View Post)1 -

The most common cases I run into failing to boolean are either my parts don't actually touch or they touch at an infinitely small edge resulting in a non-manifold edge. (View Post)1
