Feature Request - Variable linking in string properties
It would be awesome if, when entering data into a string based property field, you could reference Configuration and/or Feature variables present. For example, as shown in the image below, I have the part properties, Width, Height, Name. For the Name field, I would like to name it: "Nut, Hex, #Width x #Height, 1-72" and… -

Any ideas for more general cases, for jogging one, or more, tabs of lesser width? I would like to see a parametric "jog… -
Formed sheet metal tools
I wanted to start this discussion to see how the Onshape community is representing formed tools in there sheet metal models. Since the model features of the formed tools needs to transfer to the flat pattern to get a location for manufacturing I have this work around. I don't need the shape of the formed tools on the flat… -
Can you reference one dimension in a sketch when entering the value for another dimension?
Say I have a simple rectangle. I always want its height to be .4 times its width. Can I do this directly in a sketch? I am particularly looking at situations where I don't explicitly know what the width of the rectangle will be since it is generated by referencing other geometry when it is constructed. This is kind of like…
